Continuing with business plan. One way of dividing content is by broad scientific area aligned with research council, health & medical, basic biological, physical sciences, environment etc.. Objective – creating local development version of Scibella.
Followed procedure in http://drupal.org/node/75545
SQL Database samdog_drpl1 setup on local PC went Ok once I realised that you had to create it first on local PC as empty – no tables and then import the SQL export file from web site backupinto the blank database! Finally wrote a reasonable script “first trim” using autohotkey. Trick is to use a function string_extract with passed parameters to write out the sections that you want to string variables then do a fileappend. Will strip down and copy out about 100 files in 5-6 seconds.
